Color Guard
Color Guard will be meeting on tomorrow, October 10th, Tuesday October, 14th and Thursday October 16th. Please report to room 222 right after school.
Latin American Club
The Latin American Club will be selling artisan-made bracelets (pulseras) until October 16. Look for Latin American Club at various lunch periods in the front lobby. This community service project will helps support artisans in Central America. The holiday season will be here before you know it. Pulseras make great gifts! Thank you for your support.
SGA
Fight it, Treat it, Defeat it. October is breast cancer awareness month. SGA will be selling pins, bracelets, and mini teddy bears! Please find one of the SGA officers to purchase. We will be selling crewnecks next week. Additionally, Pink Out day will be every Wednesday. Please wear pink on these days to support breast cancer awareness. Royalty is on its way! That’s right! Anybody interested in running for homecoming elections can start signing up today. Please write your name on the board of Mr. Ziff’s room. Posters are due by Friday. Please email Mr. Ziff your poster. If you have any questions, please ask any SGA officer.
Culinary Club
There will be a Culinary Club meeting Friday in room 240 at 2:45. We will be discussing upcoming cooking events. Hope to see everyone there!
Guidance News
A representative from Farmingdale State College will be conducting a college visit in our school on Tuesday, October 14th during 4th period. Students who are interested in learning more about Farmingdale are encouraged to attend. The college visit will take place in the library. This opportunity is open to all seniors.
TNN
Attention Lawrence High School! From TSN/TNN Studios — this Friday marks our first live announcements for the 2025–2026 school year! Every Friday, we’ll be coming to you live during second period. Dr. Lagnado will announce to the entire school and staff when it’s time to prepare your computers before we go on air. For our amazing teachers — it’s the same setup as last year! Simply open the Lawrence High School website and click on the TNN Tornado News Network tab to join the broadcast. Senior Class
Good morning Lawrence! In anticipation of Homecoming, your Senior Class is proud to present Spirit Week! We will be starting this Friday, October 10 with Character Day! Dress up as a character from your favorite movie, show or book. Also, don’t forget this Thursday, you can Pick Your Poison during lunch. For only $3 you can sink your fangs into our specially brewed potions.

Boys Varsity Soccer
Come support the Boys Varsity Soccer team tomorrow night for their Senior Game. The team will take on Locust Valley at 6:30pm at Lynbrook North Middle School. Go Tornadoes!!
Hebrew Culture Club
Hebrew Culture Club is having a meeting today after school, starting at 2:45 in art room 132. All are welcome! Join us for a special treat as we complete the crafty sukkah project!

Girls Tennis

GSA
The GSA Club will be meeting today, Thursday October 9th, in room 300 after school to plan for Safe Trick-or-Treat.

Boys Varsity Volleyball
Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Volleyball team on their 3 game sweep over Elmont. Mailo Rozas had 38 assists. Corey Shakur had 15 kills and 5 aces. Elijah Tolley added 11 kills and 5 blocks. Tevin Johnson had 4 kills and 5 blocks. Kaaranveer Singh had 4 blocks. Jairo Melgar had 6 aces. Fernando Larios had 9 kills and 10 digs. Defensive specialist Sehil Dhoundiyal had 11 digs. The boys are currently undefeated with an 11-0 record
