LES sixth graders created Greek clay pots in their ELA/Social Studies classes. Their inspiration came from the reading of The Lightning Thief in ELA and their study of ancient Greece in social studies. The learners studied the geography of Ancient Greece also the city states of Athens and Sparta, the architecture, and the ancient philosophers. After studying Greek symbols, the learners created their clay pots.
